Always rembmember the FOUR DESIGN PRINCIPLES
If you obey these principals your designs will always have that professional touch. Also remember MAKE PAGE ELEMENTS FEEL AS IF THEY BELONG TO YOUR DESIGN.
In print design you need a minimum of 300dpi for you photos, however depending on your monitors resoulotioin your image can only been seen at 72 or 96 dpi. so DONT MAKE THEM ANY BIGGER.
Remember that in order for your site to be sucsesfull it needs to be fast loading. Make pictures any higher in resoultion will just make them unecesserly large cause your site to load slower.
Finally remember to TEST, TEST and then TEST some more. always remember that your site will be viewed on many different browsers, at different resolution and on many different monitors. You need to test for all these situations.
